Terms of Service — Open Energy Advisors LLC

Nature of service. Open Energy Advisors LLC provides independent technical and financial analysis of residential solar proposals. This is not legal, tax, engineering, or investment advice. All pricing estimates are independent market benchmarks and do not represent final installed prices or binding quotes from any installer.
Independence. Open Energy Advisors LLC is not affiliated with any solar installer, manufacturer, or financing company. We receive no compensation from installers, manufacturers, or financing companies. All revenue is buyer-paid.
Scope limitations. Consult a licensed attorney for contract interpretation, a CPA for tax matters, and a licensed contractor for engineering or installation questions. The report does not constitute a recommendation to purchase or reject any specific installer's proposal.
Subscription terms. The Shopping Pass is $39/month, billed monthly. Includes up to 3 New quote slots per billing month. Additional New quote slots are available for $15 each. Cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Completed reports remain accessible after cancellation.
Refunds. If we cannot complete a review due to missing documentation that cannot be provided within 5 business days of our request, a full refund for that submission will be issued. The base subscription is non-refundable once a review has been delivered.
Data handling. Uploaded documents are used solely to prepare your report. Documents are not shared with any installer, manufacturer, financing company, or third party.
